Damn man I just seventy -- the guy to guy was it the guy was a -- for a 177 days he washed up on the shore. Of of some mullah. Now to meet growing up I watch wrestling I know all about the wild -- -- that he goes to accomplish and how often I'm going to another island -- out of there is no way -- -- we got the ball in his mouth we'll talk I don't know what they did. Any amount of those times tonight I mean like. -- grass skirt. Yeah like -- freak out if it if I could fill my water and I feel like half an hour out. That's when I was wondering if my my my main thing about this guy I was you can survive on official what do you drink it. How exactly you can't drink saltwater and well this entering for a while too is brother ended up dying from dehydration and -- -- overboard -- -- -- those -- like I shouldn't be -- simple like that. The first one of those that I ever watched and Islam like this my problem boats they all got on a -- -- -- Milosevic and taken -- from. I'm really meant to cut it down my Anderson Blake had -- hug and East Coast. Something happened the weather starting getting -- a rubber to the weather starting getting -- the tiny ship was tossed and if not for the courage of the fearless crew well the ship was lost but they got a lifeboat right. Several from the lifeboat is like your life everything else went to food clean water most of like in a separate thing it drifted away the skipper left Lego. So McConnell on the killed in an area and to but it didn't have Marion died but there -- five movement ended up Olympian to lament the end. The wall woman died as -- broken leg right but they got nothing to do -- to the -- -- bleed now and now the sharks are under the raft for like a week. Hitting the bottom trying to knock them out. And let William really calmer -- why -- you really go all mud and I get called but. They started running low on a fresh water and one of the guys who actually worked on the ship because the reemerged on the what they can ride down. So one of the guys that should know better he decided I can't take it anymore and start drinking seawater and Ireland that's gonna just doesn't to kill so the next morning. He wakes he stands -- and boat and he says hey man I see is 7-Eleven that they're a little while I see a 7-Eleven so the most -- This that they were also exhausted and tired of this time you deny that energy to stop them so basically you're my man steps off the boat swim toward some eleventh. Two seconds later they heard him screaming and on all the blood and body parts -- not a those senate vote sharks and are very similar eleven of those football players of coast Florida. Just couple years back as far as those in the -- going delusional when they're out there and you know for whatever reason why I think what this -- been sweat. One of the guys consult your Brothers and I had another -- saw such a remote alone that it's also just a golf and housing and -- like I had -- -- -- -- lemon in the news has gone -- I guess you know what if you're that delusional that out of it that's that's -- that's probably going to be the end result anyway but it is hope that he still thought he was pursuing naked women at the time but he died. But you'll be heard of this moment of clarity like hell man and -- I tell you right now. After like that after a week Andre -- somewhat. I think -- I don't think I could make it. We're gonna give us a question -- ask you questions so we drink saltwater we get all that stuff then. Really ruins our head you -- mean I'm in LA you know like anything else if you're gonna poison somebody. You just put some I drops in her eyes and -- -- drinks and then they'll get all the right that Darren did have the scooping up and oil Nolan got busted she killed her husband and Pennsylvania. She was just trying to be. She was trying to to make him be needy of her. So she kept putting drops in this water to the point where he was having -- so bad and he was so sick all the time but when he crashed that you would have to take care of the -- -- to -- media and I don't -- well he's because you're gonna try to want to know why -- wanting control over him and she wanted to be at home and feel like that -- -- a person that they care of them and she -- -- -- back to health and -- poisoning multi. So if salt water does that to you which basically assailing. The night of a shark comes up and it's got its mouth wide open and I'm on the raft and I've got like a five gallon bucket of water tunnel -- fresh water. So that's not their exact figure if we can't take salt water and then they can't take fresh if that would be the taser remember. Let you know I don't know can I crash. While I drink it's good when you're fresh water -- Joseph struggled to freshwater -- and you'd be the next one over reporters I'm mouse getting dumped on our water on Mr. Bush shark yeah he killed him any deal that would you know would -- -- Muslim. Our producer -- 13 of the -- down his mouth he drowned that as the worst there ever amounts are in a search filters assault out of the water anyway. And you just made it easier. Hey man let's start come mayoral Killinger. Read you first now this story proves that he -- at Xavier left and it did it and Jay Leno the night and worried -- -- did you guys get into saltwater into this whole bucket that's what -- guy -- really -- salt -- About back fed is deliciously -- will find out. This proves that -- ever -- week's annual mine and -- toughness you can driving and so on. A nice you'll always be nice and scroll saw -- nice people to bail them out back on September 8. Gerald gronkowski. Gradkowski of Cleveland Ohio. Got a flat tire a guy named -- -- MacKey -- decided to sell stop to help the guy out neither of the fellow's age was given. Christopher -- minded Gerald scar which might have saved their lives because few minutes later drunk drivers swerved over in crashed into the back of Christopher's car with a two guys were working on flat tire together. A luckily nobody was hurt and at some point -- mentioned the time eight years ago when he got to a large fish hook embedded in his hand and a total stranger helped him remove it. Well it turned out that was Christopher do you remember pulling the hook out of Gerald and eight years ago. That's a little strange and unbelievable tennis and unlucky this first guy is -- -- and -- you showed up. That the same guy shows up to bail amount and then Mike somehow that guy's car even stopped them both from Brighton. Other story comes to us from that you've probably read this already actually because it's from dog time dot com. But I -- rated anyway in case you have elected dog diamond today. I would paramedics arrived let's see here. And the story goes choking dog dials 911 saves his owner's life. That the that the that the when paramedics arrived. With a house would call that originated out if you. The law does -- saved its own -- all the dogs in his own life. I know I'm trying to get to that point I'm having problems with the story. The group I guess -- into the house expecting to find human -- distress when the initial call came out. Instead they found a joking Basset Hound and a phone -- Since tightly around -- -- next to the very called the -- -- call for help crew was absolutely terrified cannot free himself. Of the dogs for all the dog's name is George that's what confused me George is predicaments are -- like -- George here George is the dog. Are rushing to the panic dogs -- the walker moved accord saving George. Incredibly you could see where is -- was on the phone to ring 999. This must be over in England he literally save his own life. A Georgia's owner Steve brown and his daughter Lydia are relieved of their best friend is safe and sound but also stunned by Georgia's quick thinking and a crisis. We still don't know how I managed it she said it's one of those old fashioned phones with the dialing ring. He's not on usually very Smart no kidding you have a day ambassador now he's really -- and just likes to -- Sox. I think any won't be shocked if the dog picked up the phone and dialed it. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Should 99990. -- down 911. Look more impressed he's gotten that call around actually this could just think they're reaching out. So after this fall down hit 99 -- could -- -- -- -- remember it's got to consider man he's -- there is one of ten different -- he -- at it pound pound pound. 444 my man hit man and a good pound pound pound is likely he's right underneath the 90 whoa wait a minute wait a bit -- I got I got I got to raise them yeah. A while ago I lost 00 we had an instant had been -- too long -- but I but I got a new -- a -- mother the mother from basically just -- aren't the problem with that -- was the fact that windy it died it died died. So they couldn't go in the could retrieve any of the information that I had on my previous phone to transferred over to my new file. So there -- certain numbers that I had on the air that had to go and get from people there's enough a lot of numbers that I I just lost that I can never find you -- I mean people that I needed to call I. I don't know anybody's phone number two or so of those kind of problematic so. As people would call me I would reenter their information and my phone so -- -- their number tatters and it's better. What you're getting this call and it started happening. Really really early in the morning around 6650. And a pick up the phone and it would just be like this kid like laughing at me -- tackling at me whatever I'm Mike eyewitnesses. What's going off. You know this mine number they're not right so then Mike you don't want to -- letter go buy the phone rings he's 45 in my Christ almighty it's this kid again. And like. -- we cater to baby woody don't I have no idea I don't know if -- get out of the pocket -- you hear in the background he knows the mice plans was having a very good time for this early in the morning anyway. Day goes by nothing next morning 63 phone rings again same -- I'm like. What is going on here like. How is this kid able to just dial my number like I would speed dial by in on someone's phone -- just a button push whatever but it goes a certain combination. That they were able to press to call my house. So eventually 1 morning and I still don't know -- this number it's okay I have no idea. So I write back a -- -- texted the number back I'm like. Either your pocket dialing me or your kids deciding to call me every morning at 6 o'clock in the morning and I get back a response that says. Also sorry she's playing with a phone still don't know who this person that -- no goddamn idea this still continues to goes on -- -- east. It does not end Mike who in the hell was calling because my wife is like -- Poland and I don't know maybe we'll they have your number I know this kid calls me every morning two or three times. So one day I'm sitting in it's it it -- I believe did you look at me like yeah hurt my kids and bring. Six. That they did that. Night I'll watch our program. This is my wife told me like four days after she's like hey miles thanks and good today dissimilar to a why did you call and so I explain I'm really -- a little -- her either so she's just -- -- you know the -- keeps Graham and -- and my kid has an hour's phone all the time and -- people constantly so. How -- but put him like a she Coleman's always believe I'm not and I grinned pummeling every morning all week. Michael what time -- like six in my car. This is Chrysler and -- fairly good. Mike who was calling me nobody -- wake up to the vote of six was certainly no one's on the other side you know Zoellick who is -- couldn't breathe real low I don't know idea I got -- and I -- I didn't mean to do it. Yeah but elevated floor Michael -- landslide I don't know how she figures the number I mean right in the middle load -- -- -- contacts got a two year old the government. Millionaires I never thought blank would help me to a 642 and -- 873 Iraqis take recommended your calls next. This it's really good miles and drill 99.9. KI DS to. Literally here I never thought did like what -- -- -- what -- 873 -- in your emails to the men's room KI SW back -- Hello Terry welcome to the men's room rarely go man although I know. So what's your story -- well. And a million years I would never got to the end just pretty much a hopeless don't seem whatever people that helped me -- help anyone else. Let's just silly talk. Why did I end up by helping me out. Because he gave me the ability to reach other people that have the same problems and same struggles they you know it's hard for me to believe anybody else especially somebody that has never been through it. I believe judges I didn't believe you know. My girlfriend or my girlfriend mama. Anybody else I wouldn't believe anyone know if he hadn't been there and you've been through that dirt you know I don't believe people get out of. And did you find that mentor yourself. I dear -- how did you find him the -- would go to like NA or look. Yeah yeah idea I have boy ended up going into you know are usually go to those meetings -- tracked for years these kids to get ready you know and I hear people they -- they lost everything organized. I Darian -- know tactical course she did look at you you're alluding to there. You know I'm not. Finally. I ended up losing everything and how -- treatment and the guy came mainly young kids who used to actually just monster. Serb the thing that I needed to hear it I believe it. Would you say that you need to do here. Are just that he'd been you know a pistol so who got in your mouth I'm taking a step drug addict and criminal. And that he found a way. I -- and his guys do not believe him. And he keep clean you know that -- We did if he's still there and how many times it take you to the -- check them in LA times did you give it a serious effort. Actually I was I was I was -- got a twenty years. And I think that the first time I ever gave her an honest effort was in March when I like to treatment had never gone to treatment before. But what I got there I was completely empty and I was I was ready to -- some things I was pliable. But when you actually did -- one shot that would when you finally did when you finally made a determination that you're gonna seek some help when you went in there by that time. You're able to kick it right what what were you addicted to about. More. This much he can carry I started shooting drugs and are seventeen or quit when I was 45. I shoot heroin meth Coke all right woods do you still smoke cigarettes. I do I'm lucky strike brokered I'm gonna. I know what I did I think is that they would Bennett I don't know anything about your other demons I'm sure there are incredibly difficult to quit I can't imagine coming from act is that I don't have any experience and so. I can't speak for that I can't speak for trying to quit smoking. And I I just I can't think of anything harder I really got no -- -- -- nicotine no problem do you eat well not no problem but it will thank you did it. For me though I'm telling him and it's it's a mother it is just a mother. Well it did or didn't it just so loud no doubt outing Yale and they said that nicotine is. -- harder to -- Errol. Well I did that again peril enemy is still does things like. You can say that joke about it I just don't want to be the person who's on -- US to fight my way out of that addiction as well I got a turnabout -- ever want and in our drug quit smoking Cuban. Like the withdrawals are a lot different than what I hear about heroin. Oh yeah. I mean and that's to me that's -- that's like art may be over time heroin users to get rid of but you know. There's an educated inhabit that's going to be the toughest I was when you first start and then as -- explain to me with heroin it's just. It's a nightmare for what three days a week somewhere. Well depends on how bad your averages one -- picture in nine days. We can't believe me ask your question yeah see that it's so maybe about day ten. You say DJ and cigarettes but -- first nine days dummy like I'm OK with smokes what's what what was like for example if you were OC have heroin on how many times would you get a fix today. Or you got you you got to get well in the morning hi someone in the morning. 1 in the morning and then so vineyard you know four hours later few hours later see you soon as you wanna get I here. -- -- -- -- So 34 times today and I think I think one of the I think one of the hardest things for me as far as the cigarettes go is that. And this is not disrespecting heroin is just a matter of the frequency or -- deserves his respect it does deserve respect as far as being addictive than that that's a big crowd so so. You know I can go three or four hours and then get another -- I can go three or four hours and then get another fix my thing is. On a cup of coffee on a cigarette. And what he's bathroom one cigarette I get a car won a cigarette and off the bustle on a cigarette like I have I have twenty triggers and instead of four. So I'm not that does not diminish -- -- -- I just I gotta get rid of held a lot more triggers to get rid of that habit I think I think that plays into the aspect of that was hemoglobin. Are the part of the reason you can get away with that Israel this is not a legal leg to know that there are double -- very end and for most of -- to do smoke like. At least awarded to regulate how often gonna do it so every -- and are basically if you hear music on the station we went outside to smoke and we know we're gonna do if there's a plea deal. You're really Nixon about -- part time things look man you keep European economic time. Well -- to Warsaw Poland -- heroin you can't just go to Starbucks drink coffee step outside shooter -- garment. In a mailing -- until we get easier or more -- could you can kind of smoke just whenever you want. Well together -- don't have to meet Carlos and Albert and didn't follow morale per mile an -- through the darkness of -- in like he throws -- cigarette in your garden you -- the Monday in a. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- But why did they had a -- hasn't decided that like caffeine nicotine -- cool but other drugs or not. Well lit up wooden quote the treatment or weren't you they did did allow us to smoke but there were sure there is no caffeine. So they put that on the same level. Yeah I think part of business doesn't legal and and even alcohol is legal alcohol. Seemingly as a go to -- you lose your job usual leopard a cruiser driver car nor true you know alcohol can have more immediate effect -- I can smoke a pack of cigarettes today. Which are probably gonna do by the end of the day anyway and -- Americans seem any different limited now what if I drink you know a twelve pack of beer there's such a noticeable difference obviously. And and I think that's what I'll -- -- things the legality of like well we don't recommend you do this book caffeine not a legal. Cigarettes not illegals were mad and gonna time says an alcohol since this is so much of an impact so immediate so hard to Scott -- -- -- which your toughest which are tough the situation all environments. And and what drug is it that your craving I mean. Just like nothing else think if you're -- to barbecue and you've got to grow -- and you like have a cold beer that's normally a time guys like have a beer and outside barbecuing whatever is there. A certain trigger for you and a certain drugs that you know you get yourself situationally and in a situation and -- you wanna do that again or if you'd like to think that. Man -- I wish it'd mess this up is it sure would be good to have a cold beer here right now our smoke Joyner. Hey go smoking and enjoy it I noted above average range. I'm gonna get really really dirty the -- I -- you know it's if I had a fight if I start drinking. Are many get to that point where I want other drugs but I my mind wants to trick me that I can you go out. Spark up the do and I know that I care. That's the only thing that I missed I missed -- Do you think Kennedy's spark -- nothing you wanna go into more drugs the same triggers as the other stuff. Well you know I mean almost no big deal and I'm here real thirsty and cinemanow on appeared. 10000. I see this snowball out there as well regarded. I got it. Okay in a million years and never thought blank what help me tools export to -- 873 Rockwell but what he says is something that I think that we always like in the back of your mind you truly believe which is. You need somebody new somebody has to be towards somewhat -- your shoes your path of life for them to be able to understand if you're one of those places and you don't I think I think that anytime -- a year you have an addiction problem. The last thing you wanna hear is anybody who's clean and tell you anything about life. Because it just doesn't seem like they get but if they've been to that place to hell of a lot easier to swallow just like anything else. I think it's like that not just an addiction was anything. Certainly the reality -- ready to graduate lake late. There's a coach right now and Europeans and his players are kind of revolted against him and one -- -- that's -- to -- -- -- and things like he's never played a level like this he can't stand right. Now I tot say this grow here's one that I never thought my stepfather growing up people they he EP people a lot on me as far as responsibility goes and that's just the way it was I mean. You chop wood do you stack would for the wintertime to cut grass you wash the car you shoveled the did the driveway if that's -- he raked the leaves treated all that and I could not get out of the house until I did everything that I needed to do and he would tell me all the time -- Different tasks based on but you one thing done it was on the next thing that was just or anything else I was part of that honey do list and I was. Doing my job to earn my keep of that house and is much as I resented that at the time and doing all those things and having to be responsible or get a job what -- to over thirteen to pay for stuff for. Working camps all the stuff sort of have a little money and because he wouldn't give me money you have to you have to earn your money it got the neighbor's grass it all the stuff. And the time I got them hated it I hated everything about it I hate to make my bed in the morning I -- do my laundry I hated doing all that crap because you know what everybody else was out having a good time. And the difference was I was a lead I was not allowed to leave the house until I got that done so in other words it wasn't. You need to do this reg -- that now -- you know and every one he's can't do anything to get a doctor Smith and I hated it but I tell you what as far as being an adult and being somewhat responsible for the Dodgers that I am I still feel like I carry that same. Ethic as far as get your crap done. Then you can go have a good time and and for whatever reason at the time I never thought that was sink in my head that way but to this day I am that way. But I just don't known to get -- -- -- yeah I can get up in the morning on Sunday morning and easily crack a beer and easily go to the bar 10 o'clock to watch the ravens games you know what I can't. Fortunately there on this week but I've got laundry to do in -- and I've got other things and it once I get that done if I get that number 11:12 o'clock and was -- there once again. But I will not allow myself not to do the things that I need to do first. And then it just in my mental way of thinking. I don't know anything else to do it. If I wanna sit here and drink beer till 5 o'clock to 52 in the game kicks off you know what I can't and does that have to go purchased so I don't have to do laundry -- I had to do that it's all done. So at that time I hate that the now alone in the long run -- Mike you know what I god bless him you know other Rosen was the development that parents parenting that's yeah hated for -- grown up -- -- you don't know -- different as an adult. -- -- years I never thought blank would help me to a six -- to Iraq 873 racquets smiles and thrill that nine point nine KI SW Seattle.
